FAQ

Here you will find answers to the most important questions about the functions, possible uses, and technical details of our water rescue robot.
How does the "Dolphin 3" rescue robot work?
The "Dolphin 3" is a remote-controlled or autonomously operating water rescue robot that travels across the water surface at up to 26 km/h. It can approach drowning victims directly, take them on board, and safely bring them back to shore or a boat – even in strong waves or currents.
What are the suitable applications for the robot?
The "Dolphin 3" is successfully used for water rescue at lakes, beaches, rivers, and outdoor swimming pools. It also supports fire departments, DLRG, water rescue services, and disaster relief units during floods or major events such as triathlons.
Is it possible to use it without trained personnel?
Yes, the robot can be intuitively controlled via remote control – no special training is required. In addition, a version that can act completely autonomously is currently being developed.
How many people can the "Dolphin 3" rescue?
Depending on the situation, up to six people can find support on the robot simultaneously. Even with a total load of over a ton, it remains operational and stable.
How robust is the device?
The "Dolphin 3" is extremely robust: it can survive a fall from up to 50 meters unscathed and automatically rights itself if it capsizes.
What is the robot's range?
The range is over 1 kilometer. This allows the robot to quickly reach even distant locations.
Can the robot also be rented or only bought?
Currently, the "Dolphin 3" is available for purchase, and in certain cases, for rent or as part of pilot projects. Simply contact us using the contact form.
How long does delivery and commissioning take?
Depending on availability, delivery usually takes 4–6 weeks. An instruction can be given directly on site upon request.
